After we finished University my friend Ciaran went on to make this great short film. Shot on location in Camden in London I got to work on the opening titles and the sound design. I first animated the title in Flash to get the timing and design right. I then transferred the design to thick card with sliding cutouts which would reveal the red and white title design behind and then backlit the whole thing. Over a very long night we animated the sliding cutouts by hand shooting one frame at a time on a bolex 8mm camera.
